Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Shopigent Returns ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

Shopigent Returns provides AI-powered return management for Shopify stores, including:

  • Automated return policy enforcement
  • AI agent (MCP) integration for return processing
  • Fraud detection and prevention
  • Refund execution via Shopify Admin API
  • Return label generation (via third-party providers)
  • Customer return portal
  • Email notifications
  • Analytics and reporting

3. Account and Access

3.1. You must have a valid Shopify store to use the App. 3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your MCP API keys. 3.3. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Billing and Payments

4.1. The App uses Shopify Billing for all payments. 4.2. Plans and pricing are as described on our Pricing page. 4.3. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. 4.4. Refunds for the App itself are handled according to Shopify's refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: 5.1. Use the App for any unlawful purpose 5.2. Attempt to bypass the App's authentication or security measures 5.3. Use the App to process returns for non-existent orders or fraudulent transactions 5.4. Interfere with the App's operation or infrastructure

6. Data and Privacy

6.1. Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. 6.2. You retain ownership of all your store data. 6.3. We process data only as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1. The App may integrate with third-party services you configure (SendCloud, Shippo, EasyPost). 7.2. We are not responsible for the performance or availability of these services. 7.3. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any third-party providers you connect.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. 8.2. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect refund amounts due to misconfiguration of policies
  • Failed label generation due to third-party provider issues
  • Email delivery failures
  • Fraud losses that the App fails to detect

9. Termination

9.1. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. 9.2. We may terminate access for violation of these terms. 9.3. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
